...yes...let's get the front doors "Just Right" and then move on.
We got the door check arms back from Plastic Depot today....they did a good initial cut that will require some "adjustment"...and I'm off traveling for the Holidays...so work at Northlight Labs will come to a halt for a week or so.
Happy Holidays to all!

Back in action....
...at Northlight Labs after long ride up and back to Seattle in the FX4 EcoBoost.
Can't complain about 18-19 mpg on the highway...and even saw 21 for a while.
But I digress.....
Made a couple of further inquiries into resources to get the precision cuts made. One local resource can do it....but they are very busy....and it may take a month or more....cost about $200 as they will have to make fixtures to accurately hold the part in their milling machine.
I may give the original plastic fabricator who made the initial trial (not quite deep enough) cuts another try...as they should be done with their rush for the Consumer Electronics Show.
If not........the trusty Craftstman tool box at Northlight Labs HQ will open up and spill out assorted files, drills, saws, Dremel Moto Tools, etc....the bright blue Harbor Freight vice will do the holding and we'll make a little template and give this a try ourselves.
After all...it's not REALLY rocket science......
Happy New Mod Year from Northlight Labs

lost my Car again...
I don't see why you just remove it? my 94 dosen't have those and i get in and out fine.... my Camry has those things and i just cut them off there really damn annoying when you get in and out when the car is on a 2 post lift always end up trying to hold back the door and letting it gently lean on the lift.
