Truck is on its 3rd battery as of today with 5k on the odometer. Went to leave this morning and it just clicked. Took it to the dealer and got stuck in a Ram for the day. On the bright side, I am the proud owner of a new Springfield XD-S .45ACP!

Welcome to the club.. My truck had 3 in the first 5K. I now have almost 9K on the odometer and the current battery is holding strong. Congrats on the XDs. I have the sub compact 9mm version.

I love my XD 9. I found the XDs too narrow for my liking.

So, are the loner truck and gun somehow related?

They don't make them like they used to. I have a 72 month battery in my Bronco that is over 8 years old.

It's wonderful. I would recommend to anyone looking for a large caliber carry weapon.

Sorry about the battery and being stuck in a ram. But the xds is sweet. Im looking to get the xds 9 and the xdm 9 compact. .40 cal ammo is costing me too much with my glock 23. Post some pics of your piece.
