Default It's little things like this I wish my Ford had. First world problems. (PICS)

Every day I drive into work I need to swipe a card to get through a security gate. Sometimes I even have to hold it up for someone to look at. Although a minor detail in my life, it is something I am FORCED to do daily.

Here is where the card resides inside my F150
(Inside the business cards holder in the center console)

Here is where it would sit if I bought a Chevy. This is the Chevy I drive at the work site currently. It's a 2015 4.3L V-6 if that matters.

NO CARD

WITH CARD

I wish my F150 had this card slot. I'm extremely disappointed/let down over this type of quality/option availability from FORD.

And I bet the vast majority of chevy owners wonder what that slot is for and wish it wasn't there. They can't make everything for everybody!

I bet with an exacto knife and some ingenuity you could make something similar in your F150.

That slot is for the AAA card when you need roadside assistance

you know, there IS a little clip slot on each of the visors, just for holding cards like that ...

so the Ford gives you A) a card holder in the console, AND B) a card holder on the visor ...

How's your Chevy now?

+1, clips in the visor, never thought of using it for access cards! Your lucky, I get to wear my access card on my body all day
