First order of business should be to ditch that big **** chrome grille, who even thinks that looks good on there? There's no other chrome on the truck other than the running boards. I'd pick up the newer FX4 grille or have that one painted.

Next, some 11+ FX heads and tails, Raptor running boards and newer FX 20" wheels with some 275/55/20 Michelin LTX M/S2 would make your truck nice and classy.

What tire would you guys put on the FX4 18" rims?

Michelin LTX M/S2
Michelin LTX A/T2

I've talked to you before, trust me keep the 20s, resale on those are much better. Plastidip your rims so everything is black except for the machined in parts on the spokes. If you don't put a leveling kit on it put on some 295/55r20 trail grapplers, if you put a leveling kit on it put on 305/55r20 trail grapplers or similar sized duratracs. Replace your grille with one from a 2013 or newer FX4, you have HID headlights coming so you're good there, get some newer FX4 tailights, replace the chrome running boreds with either black fx4 appearance package boards or black aftermarket running boards.....cheap option is to plastidip the current ones, add FX appearance package red emblems....could also plastidip the current ones, black glossy b pillars, add LEDs to the mirror reflectors then black out the orange with lense tint. Also put on an exhaust on or aftermarket black exhaust tip, paint the tail light edges black and tint the front windows to match the rear. Don't forget the I State license plate. This should be enough to get you started lol. This is what I would do to it but its your truck so you can decide!

Gatorback mudflaps (splash gaurds) from sharptruck.com

I think I should have installed the fronts lower, but am concerned about backing up and tearing them off in tall grass or corn fields. I think the fronts are 7 inches from the ground and the rear are 8 inches.

Default Same truck in 09 version

I agree with the grill. Way too much chrome. I have slight accents of chrome on mine. Didn't want the complete black out look but I go back and forth on it. I know you weren't sure about the 20's or 18's. For the 20's I went with Cooper Zeon LTZ tires and went larger with the sidewall (55 to 60). Rides better with more rubber. Also, if you keep the tail lights, black out the white edge around them. Looks better on the darker colors. Wish the had the tinted lights back in 09.

Do you notice much difference in speedometer? No lift or level right? Have a side picture?

Not much difference in speedo. No lift or level needed. I could have even went larger. Can't find a good side view but here is another 3 quarter view.
