Default Issues with leveling kit?

Has anyone had any issues after installing a leveling kit? I have a 14 FX4 with 16k on it. I installed a 2" Pro Comp back in August and all has been fine until a few days ago. A few days ago, a clunking noise started coming from the front of the truck every time I hit a bump. It happens when going over speed bumps, imperfections in the road and pulling out of my driveway. Basically anytime I hit a bump.

I've done some reading where Ford has denied warranty work because of leveling and people have had to pay out of pocket for a new steering rack. Not sure what the deal is, just curious to know if anyone else has had issues. Steering feels absolutely fine, so hopefully that being the issue is a little far fetched.

Is anything loose?? Have you looked for broken or snap bolts? I have 16,000 miles on my leveling kit with no issues ...

Not yet. I'll get underneath it tomorrow. I'm going to my farm for Christmas so I'll have to wait until I can get it into my shop to look. I just don't have anything in my garage here in Houston. I've given it a quick look by sticking my head in the wheel well and haven't noticed anything.

Then again, I have a big head and could only squeeze in there so far.

Well,if you have access to a jack. I would jack up the front and relax the suspension and start grabbing the front end parts and the ball joint area

Yeah, I would definitely check all fasteners. It is pretty likely something is loose. Check sway bar end links, all the bolts on top of the strut and the bolts on the bottom of the strut. I think it would be any of the things listed. If it were uca or tie rod ends loose in the knuckle, it would have affected the way the truck feels like looseness or wondering.

You just won the golden goose, sir.

They had gotten pretty loose. Tightened it up on the left side and the problem was solved.
