Default Issues with facing lights

I've been wanting to install some back-up lights on my truck. As simple as a rear facing 12V LED flood or light bar. Are there any legal issues with a rear facing white light? I'll have a control switch in the cab so I can turn it on when needed.

I think back up lights are made to be white, I've had lights for a few months that only come on when I place it in reverse, no one has complained.

If I were you I wouldn't use a switch inside the cab, just use the reverse as your on off, no chance of getting in trouble like that

Most people get around that issue by intentionally angling the lights down, and mounted under the bumper. The hard part with a Light Bar, depending on the length, is that it'll throw too much light depending on where you want to mount it.

If you want, you can get an LED light strip that goes under the tail gate, that'll add a little light, but the easiest/best solution is a couple of LED Flood/Reverse cubes that go under the bumper. Install might take a couple minutes, and wiring takes at most an hour, depending on how neat you go. It'll automatically turn on in reverse, and gives you a switch in your cab if you want to turn them on manually.

I've found a couple LED flood cubes on Amazon for ~$20, and you can get a harness for $20 more. Just my input.
