Default Cam Phaser & Oil Filter

Looking at a new '10 XLT with 5.4, but questioned the service manager about the Phaser problem on the 3V engine. His response was that there was no problem if you use the factory filter. The problem is with other filter that small particles of paper restrict the flow of oil to the phaser. I don't know if this is true, but he also said change the spark plugs at 60 - 65K and there would be no problem of break them.

on a 2010 all these issues should be resolved. I know the plug issue was fixed in the 07-08model year but not sure about the phasers.

I'm really curious to hear if the Phaser issue was resolved also. I did some reading and found that there were alot of problems in the 05 and earlier models with this. Is this ...or should this be a concern anymore in the 09-10 models?
