What about older ipods, I have a 1st generation ipod touch, can I jail break it and update it.

i would not recomend jail breakin a 1st gen ipod touch i did that to mine a few years back when i first got it and it worked for about 2 days after i jail broke it then the screen went all white and it never worked again.

I am more interested in the boost and volt gauge than the iPod upgrade. What name brand gauges are they and for the boost, where did you tap into for the boost? Love how they compliment the entire cockpit!

You don't have to remove the iPod. Do the USB2 Mod and run that to the glove box. Run your iPod cable to the glove box and hook everything in there. If you can't update over wifi, you can bring your laptop to the truck and sync it that way.

How'd you get dash command to work? I'm running it using roqybt4 and a Bluetooth obd reader. It connects, most gauges don't work. I get rpm and speed. No horsepower, torque, boost, etc...
