Will it even be a hardware issue or is it all software based. The new os 5 will be available to all. From my dissapointed view of the new iphone looks like all they did was upgrade the proccessor.

Looks like you didn't look at all then...the only thing that is the same is the physical shell of the phone.

New camera
New antenna
New Voice Interaction/AI
Faster graphics.........that should be enough to get ya started

Im with you man, I think it is going to be great. I know a lot of people are upset bc it is in the same casing but I think it is still a nice improvement...esp. over my current 3gs The only thing I would have like would have been a 4" screen. That being said, I am going to order my 4S here in a few minutes!

my iphone 4 works great in the mustang but not in my truck. I am wondering if its the sync with the nav that messes up since i have not one problem in the mustang with no nav.

I had an issue with my iPhone 4 with the Nav/Sync, too. There was a TSB I had performed and it works flawlessly now. If you haven't done it yet, look into it.

My iPhone 4 works so well with sync that I am worried about changing anything. Hopefully someone else will see if iOS 5 is compatible. I am not going to rush into the upgrade.

I just installed iOS 5 GM on my iPhone 4. So far everything is working as normal. Only time will tell I guess.
