Default Intermittent failure to start

I have a 2011 F150 Lariat 4x4. It has a new alternator, starter, and battery. Occasionally, I’ll try to start the truck and it will continuously crank and not turn over. I will have to wait about ten minutes and disconnect the battery to get it to start. Any ideas on what is causing this?

Have you checked Fuse #27? They are known to burn up and cause this. There is a relocation kit offered from Ford for this issue. And even if the fuse isn't popped the terminals could be burnt and not making contact.

I have checked the fuse and it looks fine. I will look into getting that kit as I have had this problem in the past. Thank you for the suggestion.

You can have the "Fuse 27" failure without any visible damage to the fuse, or the socket, seen it first-hand - if you've not relocated this fuse yet, it's only a matter of time before your waiting/disconnecting doesn't work.
