Default Installed My Roush Vent Pod

I had some spare time and some ambition, so I figured I'd make the best of it. Got on the Roush website and ordered my vent pod for the used boost gauge that I got from a friend for dirt cheap.

Vent pod: $40 after shipping
Used gauge: $20
Wiring: $6
Vacuum line: $4
Vacuum Tee: $2
Total investment: $72

Do you still get fairly good air flow through the vent, or is it pretty well plugged off?

You might want to consider including an AutoMeter angle ring to improve guage visibility ...

*Part # 2234 (pack of 3). *Have 2 left from my pack if you're interested.

In my installation (AeroForce guage) I noticed a slight decrease in air flow from the vent, but nothing serious. Maybe (?) a 25% reduction (?).

I just bought the Roush boost gauge and wanted to put it in the vent closest to the drivers side window. Was there any more of a challenge to install the gauge in that location vice in the center vent like most people do?

Now that's kinda neat. I put a gauge in my T/A and it blocked the entire vent hole.
I'm assuming you cannot shut off or adjust the airflow anymore though.

Right. There is no adjustment to the vent anymore.

I haven't pulled the left vent panel off to see how easy it would be to run from there, but I chose the center vent because I usually just point the middle vents to the rear of the cab to help it cool down quicker anyway. It wouldn't matter to me if I cut the center vent out completely, but I use the left vent to cool me down with the A/C.
