I got the "Hell Bent Steel 2"leveling kit. Cost $70 for kit, $250 for local tire shop to install with front end alignment.

I installed the ready lift 2 inch levelkit kit as well as the blocks in the rear, so overall my truck sits 2 inches higer. Wasn't to hard to install. I had to get a wheel alignment afterwards. I noticed a 1.5MPG loss with this, basically because i'm pushing more air, and my driveshaft angle is steeper...

i still am on the fence if i should go with the kit or not... i kinda like the raked look but a leveling kit will make the truck look a lot taller

I'm was on the same fence. However, 2" isn't a LOT taller so I've decided to leave well enough alone.

Im new so forgive me. But I have heard you can do something to bring the back end down 2" instead of raising the front. I think since the truck is already high and i wont be hauling heavy loads it would be good.

Hey guy im new to this, I'm 6'6 tall and i tired of bending down jus to get into my stock truck so im lookin at a daystar 2.5" leveling kit and 33" bfg all terrains for my 2001 2wd f150. I guess the first thing im really wondering is where the hell do i get it? Do i order it online or can i find one in a local store? Lastly on a scale of 1-10 how hard is it to install a leveling kit?

Ordered mine off of www.hellbentsteel.com , Next thing is I went with a 2" kit and my truck sits LEVEL. If you use a 2.5" kit I think it would be a little nose up, also if you added a spray in liner or anything like that it would be even worse.
On a scale from 1-10 I would rate it a 5 for me. But keep in mind I have NOOOO mechanical background and had to rent most of the tools (torque wrenches) from autozone.

I have since added wheel adapters/spacers and tires 35x13.50x20.
