I'll post some better pics after I come back from NY to see the Red Sox Yankees game.

Question, I picked it up from Ford where I got all the work done and they told me the front spacers were making noise when it goes over bumps and I'm like great. We'll low and behold I left with it and they were right. Is it normal when going over bumps that it feels like something is loose or that the front end has some clunking? They said they made sure everything was tight as a drum twice. Please let me know if this is normal, I'm hoping so.

Did you use spacers and 5100s in the front? Some spacers cause the upper A arm to make contact with the spring.

Yes, I used Bilsteins set to zero and it seems as though the front end is hoping a little at each bump.

Not sure I understand exactly why you would put the 5100's on the front set to 0 and then use spacers. It was my understanding it was either or, not both. Remove the spacers and set the 5100's to the highest setting.

Dubsesd has the same set up as well as a couple of other people on here so that would be the incorrect thing to do. I replaced the stock shocks with Bilsteins, they are better than stock and they only go 2 inches where as the spacer provides a 2.5.

The spacer doesn't give you more wheel travel. All it does is move the front strut down two inches. If you went with the bilsteins at the highest setting it would still let the wheel go all the way up. Now go out and check the center nut on top of the strut housing. I have seen on here time and time again mechanics forget to tighten that.

I will do that tomorrow, thank you. Both sides are doing it when hitting a bump so I'll check both.

Good call on the center nut but you said they checked them twice already. The bilsteins on highest setting is a 2.25" not two unless you have a 2wd.

I did the highest setting and it sits level.

I'll have to drive it again. It's funny, Ford said we put on after markets parts that you gave us so we don't know if that's the way it's supposed to be.
