Default Individual tire pressure

Anyone using a simple aftermarket solution to be able to see each wheel while in the vehicle?

Each time I get a slow leak and my low pressure warning light goes off it's always on the highway when I'm late for work and it's raining...

I understand the 2015's joined technology from dodge from 1990 and put it in the dash display...

My pioneer stereo will show the individual tire pressures.

Forscan.

You'll need a windows laptop or tablet and a $30 (or more, depending on what you want) OBD adapter. Or if you have an Android phone/tablet, you can probably use the Torque app (will need a bluetooth OBD adapter)

Simple solution is not always cheap. Cheap solutions require more work in getting what you want.

With that said I chose the simple solution, no complaints at all. Alpine plug-n-play simple.

Most OBD apps can pull the tire pressure PID's. I know the forscan apple app can as well as my sct x4 tuner if I set the custom diagnostic PIDS up to be available.

How often do you get slow leaks in your tires? Might want to invest in better tires or a better tire shop. I hardly ever adjust mine.

Didn't know you could get forscan with Apple stuff - thanks will check it out. Pretty neat on the aftermarket displays too.

Tires are older Michelin's...will be off the truck by November when my snows go on then will be buying new Michelin's in the spring as these are almost done. Should solve the slow leak....

Just FYI--the iOS and Android versions of Forscan can only read data from the truck, they can't write it. They're good for gauges and diagnostics, but you can't change anything with them.

Do you have multiple tires with a slow leak? Might be time to either replace the tires or find out why they're leaking, I've had mine for a year and they haven't lost any air.

With my stock Pirelli's, it was always the same tire that lost air so as long as I knew where it was in the rotation I knew just to add air to that one every couple months.

One more thing, if your tire light comes on and you haven't adjusted the TPMS settings, you probably are still at 33psi or so and will be fine to keep driving until you get back home (assuming you aren't towing or hauling anything heavy).
