Yeah, I'm getting the whole package. I hate my chrome rims. I'm getting some blacked out rims. Probably Helo...I think that's the brand. 18x9. RC said as long as my backspace was 5 inches or less I would be fine. So my main thought is 4" with Durtrac 325x65x18
Or 2" with 295x65x18 which are 33.1's.
I've flip flopped at least 9 times....so instead of choosing this week, I bought a sweet 7" Kenwood with cameras and Nav.

You will have some power loss. Keep in mind backspacing. You will want to keep space between your control arms and the tire. Since your looking at a super wide tire (which is seriously cool) you may be getting very close to the control arm unless you are running aftermarket wheels. With an aggressive off set wheel you may have fender/valance issues. These are ONLY things to think about is all. It good be that everything fits fine. The shop that installed mine said no way they would fit. I disagreed and ended up having plenty of room when all said and done. What engine do have? Would you be willing to run a tune if you have power loss? Usually the tunes are much cheaper than gearing. I'm just giving you some of the facts. I don't run a tune, not yet anyone. I have 0 power loss, but clearly have taken a hit in gas mileage, which I seriously do not care about one bit.

Haha...nice!!!! I have never had a 4 inch lift but a lot of the fellas say you kind of get to keep the stock ride, if you like it then that is the smart way to go. Plus, all of your factory angles are better maintained. It wasn't for me. The factory ride is not bad by any means, but I prefer a stiffer ride. A 4 inch will look killer. Literally everyone I have seen with 4-6 inch lift looks bad*****. You will have a lot of sidewall as well with an 18. They will look beefy. And that's how a truck should look! Realistically, a high quality coilover kit will cost almost as much as a lift, sometimes more. So in my opinion if you want to comfortably clear those bad boys. I think you would be making the right decision by going with the 4.

It may be the pics but does it have a level already?

If you want to keep the power stay with 33's, Duratracs are a heavy tire compared to the P rated tires on there now.

Kind of looks like it now that you mention it.

You'll lose power with 34+ inch tires for sure. You'll notice it right away. You should invest in a programmer and tune for sure. You'll get some of the performance back and will cost around $400 compared to $2000+ for regearing.

This is my truck with Autospring's 2.5in leveling kit up front and their add-a-leaf in the rear. My tires are 33's. I have 3.55 gears and haven't noticed too much loss in power, but when I tuned it the truck really woke up.

No lift now. I never considered weight? Just the higher gear that the 35's would put it into. I'm not a big physics guy...but would weight really make a difference? I can drive 4 people instead of 1 and the truck has the same MPG and power. So...does the physics of weight moving in a circle change something?

So this programmer?? What is it? Is it something you program into the truck? Is it something you leave in the truck? How does it boost power? And what kind of HP boost? Also, if a 5 liter has 360 lbs off the wheels, does it actually have less off a bigger tire? Is this something you did? Thx

Good looking truck Danny, looking a the second pic of your truck I'm thinking there's already a level on it.

It's the rot any mass that gets you. You will use more power and braking to stop the heavier 35's vs the lighter P rated.

Will you tell from the butt dyno? Maybe not but weight combined with changing the overall gearing (going larger tire without regear) might be enough. I'd go 4" with the bigger tires and invest in a custom tune.

I have a custom 5 star 93 performance tune on my little 4.6 3v and its night and day.
