Thanks BullittFX4. I'm just sitting tight and waiting for the best deal.

Still looking and getting ridiculous quotes from dealers. On another note, a friend of mine just sent me a Wall Street article that came out the other day. It was about Ford and the 2015 F150 sales. Said, they were down 4% in sales and really miscalculated on the new truck! Wonder if there will be bigger incentives coming out in the upcoming months?!

I'm guessing that when the 2016s come out, they will even out the 4% downturn, lots of people don't like to buy first year remodels but extra incentives will move the trucks and some will wait for the higher speed transmission and the sync replacement. I'm thinking of waiting until 18, not sure if I will but at 35000 miles on my 13, I feel like it's just hitting its sweet spot

There are a few unscrupulous dealers out there. I know for a fact one that will hid some of the intensives from the customers and claim them for themselves after the sale. Ask the salesman to physically show you all of the rebates and other intensives on their system.

A buyer should know what the incentives are before he walks through the door - rather than relying on the salesman (who is working for the dealer.)

Go to Ford.com & find the incentives by year/model/zip code - you can double-check that on edmunds.com.

On a 2014, you should figure out what the invoice price is (edmunds, etc), determine what incentives you qualify for and then Invoice - qualifying incentives should be your starting point. The variable will be what they allow you for trade-in value (if applicable.) If a dealer wants to sell a 2014 at msrp (or above invoice) - don't even waste your time.
