Default I'm so ticked off right now... holy cr@p!!

OK, so I contacted the Internet sales department at a Ford Dealer here in Florida. I've been in contact with this lady all week. I'm looking at a truck with an MSRP of $51,170. She quoted me a price of $42,760 (OUT THE DOOR). I even asked her in two different emails, was that definitely $42,760 out the door, after all taxes/fees/etc. She says "Yes, that's $42,760 out the door, after ALL fees."

OK, so I said make it an even $42,000 and we got a deal. WELL..... Now they are saying "Ohhh, she made a mistake sir, she accidentally added a rebate twice. We can't do that!"

I was so ticked off, I just called and bitched to some manager and he says he's trying to get in touch with the Internet Sales manager to call me back.

What's up with this? I know it's possible, there are dealers up north, and Texas that people told me about on here selling trucks with an MSRP of $52K for $39K (before taxes).

Seems like this crap only happens to me.... Sorry, just had to get some opinions from people on here. I am pissed!!

Yea the world is out to get you too! Grow up you sissy! Its highly likely a mistake happened! And its not like everyone here got 10k+ off there trucks. If you cant afford it or are so upset just go somewhere else! But the way your acting I wouldnt want your money anyways!

Im usually quite reserved but damn dude this is ridiculous

Maybe they were just baiting you to get you in the door? I know your name is Mr. Tackle Inc.

This was written, in an email. She sent two different emails to me saying "Yes, $42,760 out the door."

I smell bull cookies... Take your business elsewhere. Remember you are the goldfish in a shark tank.

agree with you to an extent.
1. Why would you want to buy from a place that is not reputable and does not honor their quotes?
2. If you purchase your vehicle from them and ever go back to those guys have you on file as being a guy who filed a complaint on them
Honestly, GO ELSEWHERE to conduct your business, (like STX TED said) it will help you in the long run. The best way to destroy those guys is by informing the public as to their misrepresentations.

It means nothing. There was no contract and no signatures. Maybe she did make a mistake.

So how much is the mistake?

It's the end of the month, dealers will close the gap to make a deal today and tomorrow. Hold to it, they will come around.

We didn't call the guy back on my wife's car for 2 hours and the guy called like 20times. By the time we called back he had come down another $1500. We didn't ask for anything.
