Default IFS Housing Differences

Anyone know what the differences are between the 3.31-3.73 housing (CL3Z-3010-A) and the 4.10 housing (BL3Z-3010-B)? The 4.10 housing is substantially more expensive than the 3.31-3.73 version, but all other parts are listed as the same minus the Raptor-specific parts like the CV axles and carrier.
Yukon seems to be the only one making a front locker for the IFS, and they list it as Raptor-specific, yet the housing is the only difference I can find that would lend credence to it being only for Raptors. Even that doesn't make sense if you can swap the carrier from one housing to the other.

Thanks for the feedback. It's good to know the OEM 4.10 gears fit in the regular housing. I've accepted that the differences have never been noticed and therefore aren't an issue. Ford has the same part number for the carrier in both housings and the rear axle, so I'm thinking it won't affect putting a locker in.
