Default If you are looking for a 2012 FX4

Hi new member here and I want to thank the resources and info this community provided to help me educate myself about F150s before I plunked down my hard earned $$$ for a new truck.

Anyways, I could not find an FX4 in my area with a 6.5 foot bed at a decent price or a sales guy that was able to work with me. After looking through the internet and calling a few dealers I ended up buying from Evergreen Ford in Seattle. They have a ton of FX4s on hand and I was able to come to an agreement over the phone with zero hassles. When I flew out there they picked me up at the airport and everything went smooth at the dealer, no hassles, no hard sells, no extra charges. I was out of there in just under two hours. The sales guy (Andrew) was great!

I hate to sound like a commercial for these guys but I just wanted to pass this on to anyone who might be in the market for an FX4.

I spoke with a sales guy from there when I was shopping and I agree, they have a ton of FX4s on hand and their advertised pricing (no need to haggle) is the best price I've seen anywhere. I had already established a relationship with another Seattle dealer but my truck came from the evergreen lot (dealer transfer) and I paid the Evergreen price and I'm very happy.

Evergreen is close to me and I've been thinking about going out there this weekend. I've seen their internet prices. How did your deal compare? Lower, higher, about the same?

I STILL have not bought a new truck, however if you're on the other side of the U.S., I would check out fairwayford.us website. They take 25% off MSRP as final price. 49k sticker for 37. I am still trying to find the gotcha, but when I but I'm probably going to be flying out there.

The dealer in the state where you buy it will typically collect some sales tax, but they send it to the state of your residence. We bought our truck in PA, and they collected something like 6.3%, which they sent to WA.
When we went to register our truck in WA, they then collected the other 2.9% we owed the state....OUCH!

I ask because I live in Oregon where there's no sales tax. Even though Evergreen Ford has better prices than the dealers i've been to, idk if it would still come out cheaper if I had to pay WA tax. That dealer has some awesome prices!
