I may be trading my 12 for a 13, and am deciding what to do. I have 3.73 gears, and was wondering about 3.55's. Should I consider the Limited, or Platinum this time? Another Appearance package, or reg. FX???? Raptor out of question, because I don't get D-plan employee pricing on those.

Personally i wouldnt trade my 12 eco until Ford announces a permanent fix to the IC issues many are facing, if your truck is running good i would hold onto. But if you did I wouldnt give up my 3.73 gears. Unless u do no towing/loading. A customized Lariat could be your best value over the other 2 choices.

I do only light towing, but I will be swapping over my heavy 33's and was wondering if I would feel the difference going to a 3.55 gear ratio. I am only going to do a 24 month lease so I'm ready to rock when the "Atlas" becomes available.

I have a Platinum 250 in black on the lot, and it grows on me every day!! I just can't seem to find a way to justify except for me compensating for something.

Yes, u will notice a diff when going to 3.55 with large tires. 3.73 is the perfect gear for larger tires. But if your flipping trucks that quick then i guess it doesnt matter. Buy what you like.

If I had a do over I'd buy my exact same truck.

Trading a 12 for a 13, in a word OUCH. That's gonna hurt the pocketbook..

If I had to buy mine again alot has changed..I'd get tow mirrors and maybe try the 5L. The platinum's interior is truly amazing. But I think I'd get tired of all the chrome on the exterior.
