heres the story, near 100k on oem struts with a 1.5" spacer and could feal them float around mountain corners when they didn't new. I use to have 295/70/18 Cooper st max, wore them out after 70k miles. Went with 275/70/18 falken at3w and instantly noticed a harsher ride. Figured it was time to replace struts so I was between icons or halo. My icons arrived and it corners like it did when it was new, but i can feal every rock off road under 35 mph. They are set just like they came, 2" of thread showing. I'm no suspension guru so either I use don't like how the icon ride or they have made the crummy rear that much more noticeable. Just in case I ordered a Deaver mini pack for the rear so in another month i should have that.

does anybody have a direct comparison of the eibach and icons,or even just the eibach kit? I'm thinking of pulling the icons since they aren't what I was after and going with the eibach. Yes I'm aware I could re-valve them but not something I want to mess with

 

I went ICON's and I'd disagree about the feel offroad. Feels a hundred times better at just about any speed. Sounds like perhaps the change in ride might be those tires you mentioned at riding rougher?
