I don't know about you but I find that the zerk fittings for the bushing is extremely hard to get to. Not sure why ICON decided to put them on the bottom of the arms because once installed they are almost impossible to get to. So tonight I started searching for ideas and I came up with this. A remote mounted zerk fitting. Moog sells a kit for Chevy Silverado Idler Arms.

Amazon.com: Moog K6714 Grease Hose Kit: Automotive Amazon.com: Moog K6714 Grease Hose Kit: Automotive

So I just emailed ICON and MOOG to see if they could tell me the thread and pitch size to see if they will work. Hoping there the same because this will relieve a lot of headaches when trying to grease the bushings.

Great idea Wayne!
-Also, If they're straight fittings, could you replace with 90* fittings?
You'd still need icons thread size.

There 90*'fittings now but still very hard to access.

Icon emailed me back and said there thread is a 1/4X28 they really like the idea also and wants to hear back from me once I complete the mod on them. The place I emailed about the Moog thread said they didn't have that's info and gave me the correct Moogs email to send one to for the info.

Well great news!

Moog said that the fitting that comes with the above part is the same 1/4X28 thread as the Icon UCAs. So once I get the Amazon gift card that's being mailed to me right now I will be ordering 4 of them and getting them mounted up! Cant wait!

I don't have a problem getting to them on my total chaos arms. It's actually really easy. maybe try a different grease gun?

The gun isn't the issue the fittings are at the bottom and due to the angle of the UCAs, the fittings are facing towards the frame.

The hoses were ordered yesterday, they should be in Wednesday but not sure when ill have time to get them installed. Ill be sure to take pics along the way.

When I contacted ICON to see what thread size they used they seamed interested in my idea. I will be providing them feedback along with pics as well. Maybe this could be something that they will offer in the future. Ill let yall know once I hear back from them.
