So I bought my truck used a little less than a year ago, 2012 Lariat 4 door 4x4 with the off-road package and the tow/haul package, and ever since I bought it I've gotten 11-13 MPG highway regardless of how I drive. So here's where my story gets a little different my engine recently died at 76k miles so I just had a dealership put in a remanufactured long block under an extended warranty and even after getting most of the engine replaced, since I also had the phasers and tensioners replaced due to the timing ratyle, and I've had the low pressure fuel pump replaced, I still get the same MPG. The only thing not factory is the front end is leveled, I've also tried several different tunes from MPT just to see if it would change my MPG but it stayed the same no matter how I drove. So I'm at a total loss since I'm getting poor milage on what is essentially two different engines.
Can't believe I forgot the engine size it's the 3.5L Ecoboost.

A couple questions... is the rim/tire size stock? Are your MPG numbers hand calculated or straight off the display? Have you inspected your brakes (including e-brake) for any drag? Might sound funny, but on my old 2002 7.3L F350 I visited a friend and set my e-brake because I was parked on a steep slope, and after leaving, drove a good 15 minutes before I realized I was driving through a partially released e-brake. 😖

My 2012 ecoboost averaged 12.4 mpg in the 6 years i owned it. Very rarely did much better than that unless all stars lined up perfectly. Stock truck too. Only had 87 octane MPT tune.
My 2018 5.0 averages very similar.

My stock 2010 XLT V8 4.6L 3V shows that the MPG average is at 15.1 ... It's floated around there since I got it; the lowest I've seen it go is 14.6

How fast do you drive? I’m running 35’s and I get 14 mpg with the 3.5. I also have lots of heavy **** on my truck. It’s amazing that you are that low. I see a huge difference if I drive 85-90 vs 65-70 though. Sorry to hear that is some bad mpg.
