I just saw a commercial for this cooler that has an A/C vent hose up on the top lid and a pump that circulates through the ice water in the cooler. I believe it ran off of batteries or may have a 12v power plug. Found it: http://www.icybreeze.com/

You could also probably make your own if you are handy enough. I dont know how much cooling it can do or anything of that nature, but if it were sufficient, you could just throw some more ice in it at every gas station when you are filling up. Just a thought.
