i searched around and wasnt able to find an answer. so it looks like my truck came with the most recent sync version and when i first paired my phone it worked great but now the phone and sync connect every now and then. I am trying to figure out if its my phone or sync. so could someone please tell me if i have bluetooth turned on on sync should it always display the bluetooth symbol on the screen (non nav system) or does it only display the bluetooth symbol when a bluetooth device is connected? for instance this morning when i firsted started up the truck it was showing the symbol them later on it was not there. so did my phone drop or did sync, i have no idea?

The Bluetooth symbol only lights up when it is paired with a device, so your phone must have dropped.

I've had my truck since April and never had a problem with this until Tuesday night. I had to do a hard reset on my Droid Incredible and now it is working correctly again.

 

Try and take the battery out of your phone for 30seconds and turn it back on that should also help. People encounter this issue a lot if they don't turn off there phone every once and awhile. If it still doesn't work then delete phone out of SYNC and SYNC out of phone.
