I can't stand it anymore!!
I was probably one the first to order a 2011 H-D (September 2010) and I'll probably be one the last to actually receive it (20 Dec 2011). I was in Iraq then. They couldn't get it delivered in time, so it wasn't worth getting a month before I went to Afghanistan. I'm coming home in a Week now and My Wife just picked up my truck.
I've been viewing this site for a year and it never bothered me hearing how great the trucks are, but hearing HER talk about how awesome MY truck is, is killing me. She's already installed a Retrax Tonneau and a Hitch Plug...and she just said she ordered more "accessories" for me for Christmas.
I haven't even sat in it yet and it feels like I'm losing it.
I do have one question though--and I don't want to restart the "Floor Mat War" but can anyone recommend an all weather mat that DOESN'T cross the door threshold. The H-D (and I think the Limited) has a nice insert on the door entry that I don't want to cover up. Thanks!

Welcome back to Virginia. The weather is here is nice today. I can see why you are eager to see your truck. It's awsome! Your wife got all that stuff done for you? I'd keep her too.
PS: do you have a HD (bike) also?

That's a sweet looking truck! I'm sure you'll love it.
I can't say about the floor mats - I wouldn't get the weathertechs again, and they do drain onto the sill plate.
On a different note, thank you for your service!

I like my Lloyd mats, I don't have pics at the moment. They are very durable and protect the carpet very well. Good luck and I know what you are going through it killed me when my wife picked up my truck and I was still in Afghanistan.

Anyone who serves this country should get to drive a truck that nice... My brother too bought a brand new truck while he was in Iraq and his fiance had a few miles on it before he got home and scraped the side at the bank drive through.... damn truck was in the body shop before he ever drove it. At least your wife took care of yours and buys cool stuff for it.... I like the weathertech digital fit floor mats, check them out
