I have no firsthand knowledge of ford union employees but I can tell you most of the ones who work for the post office distribution plants are worthless and lazy and if they see something wrong or that a different department needs help with something they won't do chit. They sit on their *** and do nothing getting paid 30+$/hour not counting 50+$/hour overtime taking their union mandated 15 min breaks every hour while the PO has to hire temp workers to help the other departments get the job done because unions are greedy and lazy and they can't be fired. I'm gonna laugh my *** off when the bakers union strikes themselves right out of a job. The whole thing is inefficient as hell and that's why the PO, GM, and Chrysler are broke, maybe Ford unions are different but I doubt it, Ford just has a better product and sells more units.

Just FYI: we get 3 - 20 minute breaks for a 10.5 hour shift. The trucks we all love are pumped out at 62 per hour. Some issues are gonna slip past sometimes. No-one is perfect no truck is prefect. I think my brothers and sisters do a damn good job on the trucks! All we do is build them, we don't design or pick who our outside suppliers are.
You guys did one hell of a good job putting my 2013 Lariat Supercrew together.
I have had it only 2+ weeks, but haven't found anything wrong with it. I commend you and your union brothers and sisters for a job well done! By the way, I am a retired Caterpillar manager and in no way associated with a union.

It took me about 3300 miles before my truck was actually broken in to where I have been getting 21mpg. Mine is leveled and with 34s. Yours can too you just have to be patient. My window rattles a little and trust me, I have a brand new Platinum and I did not pay this much to have rattles already. But I understand that these trucks are not built like a 150k Mercedes. I will take it in and have them look at it when I get a chance. Yes it's annoying but I would rather deal with it, turn the radio up and enjoy the rest of the truck. As far as the Nav, yea that does suck, but you know you aren't alone so I can't see losing sleep over it so quickly. Let the truck break in.

He says customers are noticing a little more hp, and better mpg. Is this true for anyone that has over 15K on their ecoboost?

On the nav issue this is one of the reasons i went ahead and got a 2012. I was already familiar with the nav system because I had it in my 2010 model, but I just heard way to many bad things about the my ford touch. Now i'm glad I didn't by a 13. I do love the HID headlights though.

Tomorrow when I say grace and what I'm thankful for, I'm going to thank Lord that King Onyx is not a customer at my dealer. I can only imagine what those poor service writers are going through.
It's a machine, they break. They are designed by imperfect people, and perform thousands of functions every second. They never will be perfect, that includes Bentleys and Rolls. Every single car on the face of the planet will at some time break.
Put on your big girl panties, and deal with it. You weren't born yesterday, you know that life can suck at times. Stop crying like a baby because someone peed in your lemonade, and DEAL!
You shouldn't be happy, or need to settle. But stomp stamping your feet like a child. You should be embarrassed. You drive a truck, and complain about navigation and rattles. Be a man, or rather just be an adult, and deal. Give it time, it will be fixed.

It's because I buy enough trucks and I send enough referrals that they take care of their customers. The people you should feel sorry for are your customers. Happy thanksgiving duesch bag.
