Default I am afraid to take off my appearance package decal

2013 fx4 AP

Terrified that it will leave some kinda mark , but want it gone

Mine are coming off soon. Once I get enough scratches on them from driving through shrubbery.

If you are hesitant to try this yourself, take it to a body shop or vinyl wrap shop, and they would be happy to take it off for you and to gaurantee no damage. I don't think they would charge all that much, as with a little bit of heat, they should come off in a matter of minutes.

I can understand being terrified while being shot at, or facing terminal cancer, but not of removing a sticker.

Well I guess everybody has their own idea of fears, sorry to hear about your fears... My fear is still leaving a mark on my pavement princess.

Use a hairdryer and heat up a bit and just keep heat on as you peel off, you wont have any issue.

Park it in the sun for a while on a warm day......and borrow the wifes hair dryer for a little extra heat....start peeling.
The longer you leave it the worse it will be as the rest of rhe paint fades more than that protected under the decals.
