Default Hydro Dipping

I just ordered a new navigation head unit for my F150 and just got the new bezel in for the install. I have a 2012 F150 with the appearance package and my stock stereo trim is brushed metal but it looks like it is more gun metal in color.

Anyone on here ever do any hydro dipping for their interior parts? I am thinking that I should buy a small DIY kit and get the brushed metal pattern and utilize the black or dark gray base. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I was thinking of hydro dipping my interior trim pieces but after researching hydro dipping I decided to have someone do it for me. Had 4 interior trim pieces and 4 AC vent covers done for less than $200. A DIY hydro dipping kit costs at least $100. I would recommend having someone with some experience do it, or practice on some other pieces before doing your radio bezel.
