i am looking to remove the drivers door handle and take it apart as i want to replace the ugly green LED's with nice blue ones to match all the other blue lighting. i tried removing the 2 bolts behind rubber grommets in the door jamb with no success. anone have some tips for me?

 

You might want to try finding some instructions on removing the door panels to install new mirrors. I replaced mine an I can't remember if I had to remove the door handle but I know most of the door was stripped down. That might be a good place to start.
