Default How often do you flush the air in your tires?

I had my truck in getting an alignment at the local tire shop this morning and the head tech mentioned to me that as the weather starts to warm up, I should really flush the dirty old winter air out of my tires that it could have contaminants from road salt etc. He said to do it properly, pull out the valve core and completely deflate them, and then reinflate them. He said if I flush the air often enough that it can help extend my tire life and also improve fuel economy up to 20%. He said that if I want, I could have them change the filter on my tpms to help prolong their life as well that the dirty air destroys the sensors over time.

Are any of you guys doing this?

I replace the air in my tires when I flush my blinker fluid.
It's about every 7500 miles.

This is honestly the first time I've heard of this. Sounds like false info to me but what do I know.

I'm surprised they didn't tell you to replace your firewall gasket. Pretty sure they were just having fun (on your dime). Think about it, how is road salt going to get inside your tire? Use your head man...

Tell him it's the clean air from last summer. You're still good.

I was hoping so too. But with how clueless people are these days, I'm not holding my breath....

If you flush the dirty salty contaminants from the batteries they will last longer and the brightness will increase by 20%.
