Default How much Payload do you use?

Just curious. Most of the time the only thing in my truck is a kids car seat & and a mostly empty tool box. The other day though I had to do some lawn work & ended up making a few trips to the store for some river pebbles. I ended up moving 3200lbs of them. The biggest load was 30 bags at 50lbs each for 1500 lbs. It didn't sag any but it did level out the truck. I piled it all up under the tool box and as far back as the backside of between the wheel wells. Sorry didn't take any pic's after loading the sky opened up & poured down rain. My driveway is so sloped you couldn't tell if it did there or not anyway. So how much payload have you used?

Oh yeah & with the ecoboost & 3.73 gears. Even a 6% grade was no big deal carrying that load.

Probably been past it a few times but try not too, especially if going on public roads. I have a consistent payload of over 500 pounds with my toolbox and tools but other than that it just depends on what I'm doing at work.

Looks like 1000lbs. (50lbs each). I'm guessing some kind of winter weights, for traction?

And to answer the thread topic, about 1500 lbs in the new one.

In my 2006 however I had the landscape place put a yard of white rock and a yard of mulch in the back. I put a tarp in-between. Only had to go 2 miles..........it was probably over 3000lbs. She was squatty! In the end nothing broke. Not sure I'd do that with my newer truck

My payload is 1,700. I've had a 400lb quad in the bed, about 150lbs of gear in the truck, and my dad(270ish) and I(190) in the cab

400
150
270
190
+_____
=1010lbs

That's the heaviest so far

I've had up to 45 of these in the bed. About 1900lbs I'd say.

With just me and what I normally carry day to day, my trucks weighs in a little over 6300lbs. It does great lugging around that much weight though.
