Remember if your stock tire is a 275 and you buy a 295 the tire will stick out just under 1 inch more than the stock tire. This has nothing to do with the wheel offset. Now if your stock offset is +44 as mine is and you go with a +18 that means your wheel will stick out about 1 inch. 1 inch=25.4 mm. Now if you get a wider tire (let say a 295) and a +18mm offset your outside tire will stick out almost 2 inches over the stock set up.

I have 9x20" wheel on my F150 I think the offset is 1. they stick out just a little past the fender. I want to go to 10x20" rims with offset of 1 would they stick out about 1 inch more. there is a silver F150 on this site that has 9" on it and it looks like mine. I ran 10x20 with a -12 offset and they were 2-3" outside the fender, didn't like that! want the wider rim but don't want it sticking out too much. not sure What to do??????
