I have the 36 gallon tank on my 09 with the 5.4. I usually get over 550 miles per tank. This last tank I got 590 miles out of it.

You would have to average 22.6 mpg to do that.

I'm lucky if I get 520 to 525 miles per tank with my 4.6 3V XLT Screw.

^^^If he ran it right to the bottom of the tank... 22.6 but thats assuming he does not have a 36 gallon tank which I dont know... But it is not impossible.. Good tail wind driving one direction downhill... maybe.....

Don't forget to shut your engine off when refueling. It will spoil your computers average mpg. Don't ask how I know.I have xlt 4x4 5.0 and when I fill up it usually says 490 till empty. I have noticedd that max air conditioning brought my avg from 19.6 to 19.0 . I wish Ford would have made the entire dash electronic so you could pick which guages showed and how big they are. I would much rather a big fuel guage than all the reminders of uncecessary info on the screen.And Ford please make the 1-6 stay on the d***ed screen.

Just got 21 mpg on my 3.73 4 x 4 scab fx4 5.0 on a road trip up the east coast... Thats over 700 miles on a tank of fuel
