How many miles did your 6r80 make it

so far 148k miles, still going strong. Haven't done a fluid change yet, I don't think Ford wants the fluid change to be done unless it was severe duty. Haven't done that transmission TSB yet either because Idk how it will effect the MPT tune.

It's proving to be one of the best transmissions Ford has produced in while. It's actually a ZF transmission that Ford is licensed to manufacturer. Similar to how Ram is licensed to manufacturer the ZF 8 speed transmission.
I still think the C6 and AOD is the most durable transmission Ford has ever produced.

Now at 152k, though I started experiencing problems several thousand miles earlier, after a hard deceleration down to a crawl but not to a stop, then a slow-to-regular acceleration, my transmission may be unresponsive for a moment then shift extremely harsh and abruptly.
I bought this 2011 in Midland, Texas, where it had apparently worked the oil fields out there so I'm guessing it had a rough life on dirt roads (it had an inordinate amount of dust in all the crevices and undercarriage) and it may have done a lot of towing of a trailer. I've never had the oil checked or replaced since I got it several years ago, but it certainly will be done when I have a shop work on its shifting issue.

122,000. Speed sensor sucks, the rest seems pretty good. I've had one drain n fill, when they replaced the leadframe including that sensor.

Currently at 88k, filter and fluid change at 66k. Fluid was dark red, but still in good shape with no metal (other than the magnet) or clutch material. Trans is quirky but still running.

142k miles - no issues, and I'm not getting it reflashed. If it isn't broke, why fix it, as I have a 5STAR tow/perf tune and it's worked fine for the last 100k miles.
