So how does this work? I already have some soft stuffing in my factory box?

For the best results a speaker enclosure requires 1 lb. per cubic foot net. Good luck finding the exact size of that enclosure.

Try this link. Some good info on how stuffing works.

This is why I've given up on this forum, aren't there moderators to delete post like this, the only reason for this post is to call someone lazy. I thought these forums were for like minded individuals who wanted to help each other and share helpful experiences. I know nobody on here will miss me.

Boo-fking-hoo.

Why delete my post? I pointed him to the first page with the info he's looking for but he's too lazy to read so I pointed that out as well. So if you had any reading comprehension my post wasn't JUST to call him lazy but to tell him the information he's looking for is on the FIRST FKING PAGE OF THIS THREAD. Now if you want to share experiences, read the rest of this thread and contribute.

Did this today and I must say, nice little upgrade for the amount of time and money involved (old guest room pillow made the ultimate sacrifice for better sound.)

My son and his twin 18s was still laughing at me but I dont need to bounce quarters off the hood like his does

Just did mine, what a nice BIG difference !

Just couldn't be much easier. Took longer to read the precise instructions.

My son is off at Texas Tech so one of his pillows came in really handy.I'll tell him later.

Did my sub this afternoon. Amazing difference. If you cant tell a difference make an appointment with your doctor, something is wrong with you. It sounds so much better! I got out of the truck and thought to my self "That is a heck of a nice factory system now". I know Ford cant design things specifically for a certain group of people all the time, but a little poly fill in that box really improves the system. I am really happy I have the sub now!

If you think it sounds good now, try some aftermarket speakers. I installed Rockford Fosgate 1682 and it really cleaned up the mids. $100 for 4 speakers and connectors (adapters so you don't have to hack the factory wiring).
