Default How do I remove the dash panel?

I'm trying to remove the dash panel highlighted in red in the picture so that I can drill a hole in it and install a switch. I'm wondering if someone can tell me how to get it off? I'm sure that there are some hidden clips in there that I don't want break. Any assistance would be great.

Have removed it several times - it's just a matter of using some nylon pry bars ...

... and gently prying along the outer edges until it pops free and then disconnecting any electrical connections.

There is no need to remove any other panels.

assuming that you have the year with the trim over the dash, u just pull it from the edges. The clips are strong enough to take the force. U may have to remove the AC vent first, which is done by reaching in, grabbing the plastic bar across the middle and pulling it forward.. hard!
