Well long story short, my mom is going to be driving my truck for a month or so. She hates the tinted windows and wonders if my exhaust is illegal (larger muffler straight piped, still have smaller resonator/muffler). I'm pretty sure she is going to have my tint removed, minus the brow, since she knows I have gotten a ticket for it. I believe she has every right to remove it, but since it is illegal in our state, I have no reason to argue it to be left on. I already put the side steps back on because she thinks the 2.5" level is tough to get into.

Anyways what do you guys think about this, should I just let her take off the tint and then when I get possession of my truck again put it back on? And my exhaust isn't too terribly loud, so just leave it? I'd like to hear your opinions on the situation, thanks.

Take the tint off yourself so that your mother doesn't get a ticket. Or if she feels that it's a safety hazard, take it off before she starts driving it. As for the boards, make it as easy for her to get into as possible. The exhaust? See if she can live with it, if not remove it. You can always put it back the way you want it when she is done using it. Think of everything your mother has done for you.

I say if mom is paying for the truck then she has every right to do as she wishes to it. However, if your making the payments and mom needs to use YOUR truck then she'll have to ignore the Mods you have completed and be thankful she has a means of transportation...

I think you should accommodate her any way you can short of wrecking things to return it to stock- I mean she's your mom after all.

If she's making the truck payments though, do as she says.
