Default How to change 2010 drivers side mirror

I had to avoid an idiot driving in the middle of the road, and tapped a mailbox with my mirror. Glass is gone. Already priced a replacement at about $375.

So, after I pony up for the expensive mirror. How do I replace it on my 2010?

so some idiot was driving in the middle of the road and to avoid him you swerved to his side of the road?? (assuming from the broken drivers side mirror)

have you tried looking at tasca for a replacement mirror? might be able to get a better deal

Air.... I was thinking the same thing on how you hit the drivers side unless he drove around him... and he ended up the wrong way.

Air,

My typing mistake, it was the passengers side mirror. I still am a little heated about it. Nothing like have a beautiful new truck with less than 500 miles on it, and doing some damage. Not sure that Tasca or anyone else is making parts yet for 2010s.

Stryker, thanks for the links.

You need to remove the interior panels on the affected door, which will expose the mounting connectors and wiring harness.
