Default hit a curb

so long story short i nailed a curb. noticed that it was pulling hard to the right so today i pulled my wheel off and found this. lower a arm has slid off by about an inch. this is the first time ive had to deal with anything like this and no clue the best way to fix it. any suggestions?

IS the crossmember bent in that first picture where the lower control arm is mounted? If it is you will need have that straightened by a frame specialist at a frame shop or body shop. If the mounts just slid in their slots than an alignment should fix that.

I say don't touch it and take it to an alignment shop, when it comes to suspension I wouldn't want to mess with it.

Some idiots on here would go plead warranty haha

its where the crossmember is bolted to that bent. the one in the back bent and the one in the front just slid out.

i agree i really dont like messing with suspension parts...mainly why i havent ever messed with this type of thing before.

oh the other thing i noticed is that the wheel is much closer to the rear of the well than it should be. im just gonna take it to a shop and hopefully they dont charge out the *** for this. i dont think its that bad but i guess well see.

Yeah your crossmember is tweaked then. You will need to bring that to a frame shop.

Insurance should fix it and then you will only need to pay a deductible. I'm not sure how you feel about putting a claim on insurance, but it could get costly if you don't.

I hit a curb once and blew out both front tires and bent one wheel, but that's it.

I would have the shop check the wheels also, in case they slightly bent also. And check the half shafts if it's 4x4.

How fast were you going? What kind of tires do you have? They must be tough.

insurance claim is your best option at this point. a dealership will get you for at least 2500 for this fix. they're obligated to get the truck back to factory spec and will not skimp or make shortcuts to save you a dime, with their *** on the line.

If you got a low deductible file collision. And can run a quick est. At my shop pc. But looks about like 900 to 1800 depending on parts. With labor at about 80 hr
