just don't be a tool and install the 6000K plus bulbs, cause they will be 'brighter' Day light bulbs blind people, even the slight hint of blue/white.

Pure white is not meant for car driving, but they sell it cause 'Merica bigger numbers means better.

What about a 4300K bulb.... I've never done it to cars and trucks, but I have put HID's bulbs in tractors.

NO plug and play HID is acceptable in a factory halogen housing. They scatter, they glare, and look like absolute crap. But that's another subject. Just save up a fund and get some retrofits done, and get some brighter halogens for the time being.

You could also get some Rigid duals in place of your high-beams for about $270 or so. They offer tremendous light output!

PIAA s are very good also. They have a distinct cut off like retros and will do till I get mine. A huge improvement on the bulbs that came in the truck.

Yea after a little reading, I think I'm going to look more into a PIAA Xtreme Bulbs... Just wish I could find some pictures or video of the differences from stock.

I have a 2013, are the bulbs the same as the 2012's?

Looked up the PIAA Xtremes and came up with:
Bulb Size: H13
Replaces OEM bulb size: 9008

Is this right?
