Help what went wrong with install of level kit
Me and a friend of mine installed a 2.5 Rough Country level kit. It was a pain in the *** for installing. Well after about 3 1/2 hours we finally got it all installed. After looking over everything we noticed some fluid dripping and then after taking it for a test drive we noticed grease everywhere on the drivers front tire. Please tell me we didn't screw this almost new truck!!!! Any help is appreciated!!

This is a 2012 Lariat 4X4
The only thing I can think we did is cut the boot when doing the install?
The other thing I have no idea what could have happened.
We took it for a test drive in town and on the high way no noises at all and even when we put it into 4 wheel drive no noises.

I would be more concerned it's brake fluid... No issues with the brakes?
EDIT: looks thicker than brake fluid.... I bet it's the boot nothing else it could be... BUMMER!

The clamp on the CV boot might need to be tightened now that they are flexed more, I had to do that with my tundra because it would let grease seep out and sling all over the place, didn't hurt anything and I didn't add anymore grease. That or you busted a brake line. I can't see what you are taking a picture of, I don't see any wet spots.

Yeah, looks like brake fluid...

CORRECTION!! I see towards the top the thick black grease, that's how my tundra looked, one of those boots must be leaking from the extra pressure from it being at a more flexed position. They sell those clams and the pliers for it or you can take it somewhere. Some would disagree but I used hose clamps from Lowes. Never had an issue.
Edit: it would suck but it may be both, the stuf on the tires looks like brake fluid, but the stuff thrown under the control arm looks like grease
X2 edit, the more I look at it the more I think it's grease, you just need to take a good look around the clamps on the boots.

Did you pinch the CV boot when taking it off?

You tore or loosened the clamp for the CV boot.

I don't think its the brake lines we checked those that was the first thing plus brakes feel fine. Im guessing what a few of you all already said the clamps from the boot since its stretching possibly?
what do I need to do about this??
