A little polish will likely remove the current stain. To prevent future issues, use Optimum No Rinse and you'll never deal with water spots or dribbles again.

a little cascade dishwash in your rinse bucket will stop water spots, I use my leaf blower to make water come out of mirrors, windows, grille windshield wiper area etc; usually don't even need to dry if it's not real humid .

There's also the Meguiares Ultimate Quick-Detail and Quick-Wax spray bottles.

Just the other day a bird that must have been the size of a 747 laid one down on my hood, and it was naaaasty. I sprayed some of the Ultimate Quick-Detailer on it and wiped it with a microfiber towel.

It came right off slick as hell. That stuff is great (The Mequires, not the bird **** LOL).

I use Optimum No Rinse pretty much exclusively. It's great. No water spots. Quick. Slick. Relatively inexpensive since you use so little. Only complaint is that I didn't start using it sooner.

How much does it cost?? The no-scented wax formula is becoming increasingly hard to find. If it's not to much more expensive I might try it.

You could try waterless wash from adams...But a leaf blower will work well getting water out of the cracks. There is also another brand that is specific for washing vehicles (MUCH smaller)

Cascade? I've never heard of that before, but I guess it makes sense eh?

I'm surprised that no one's recommended a clay bar yet. They usually do a good job of removing unwanted debris from painted surfaces.
