Hello everybody. I am kinda stuck right now. I got my 2.5 level kit from eBay shipped for 60 bucks as I was trying to install I ran into a slight problem or so I hope. When un bolting the ball joints I couldn't get the nut off the bolt. Then I noticed little red stuff on the bolt that I later found out that was loc tite. How.do I get the.nut.off the.bolt if it has loc tite thanks in advance

 

Heat it up with a propane torch if you have one. A heat gun would do in a pinch.

 

The bolt will spin. Use a pry bar on the upper control arm to hold some pressure on the joint.

 

Well when ever i get to the bottom of the bolt right before the hex shape the bolt will turn when i try and turn the nut

 

that hex shape it there to hold the bolt while you turn the nut, which doesn't help once the nut is covering the hex, but it should be loose by that point.

 

Also wwhere do i put the torch to. The nut or bolt cause i heard its bad to heat up the ball joint. I bought my truck new do they all come like this
