Default Help with strut removal

I'm installing a level kit on my 2010 FX4 and I screwed up. It's the Daystar kit and I didn't grind the stock studs down. Of course I waited until I had it back in to realize this. Anyway, in trying to get it back out, I used a spring compressor and somehow the top of the strut has rotated, so the studs don't line up with the holes anymore. I actually had it back in there with the strut all bolted up before I realized what I had done. How can I get the studs lined back up? I really don't want to pull the axel to drop the whole LCA.

Bottle jack in between the LCA and frame to get that extra leverage to pop it out :-)

The biggest problem was the studs rotated. I got frustrated and grabbed it and twisted. I got it to turn and it is now lined up. I put the nuts on to keep it lined up while I took the stupid spring compressors off.
