Ok so here is the latest the lying *** service writer told the customer rep that another truck on the lot makes almost the same grinding noise as mine so now I have to prove that this is not the case before ford will work on my truck.

Here in Denver we have a radio talk show where you can call in with problems from local businesses and the host of the show goes to bat for you against the problem company. If you have something like that over there maybe they can make enough public noise to get something done. Or go back to Ford corporate and let them battle for you. Do an Internet search for who is the sales VP for your region and send them an email explaining all this. If their email is not listed on a web sight, copy the format from another ford employee email. Usually companies keep all the formats the same across he organization, like first.last@fomoco.com or whatever format they use.

Honey Badger has a point. Bad press can make things happen. Personally I would be at my whits end and I may be inclined to do something drastic. One idea is to have us (your fellow forum members) leave reviews on the dealerships Google rating. Maybe go as far as mentioning the service tech by name. I left an non flattering review on the local Toyota dealership and I received an email soon after promising to make it right. And yes I mentioned the people by name. Dealerships hide behind the fact that they are part of a large corporation. When you call people out by name it seems to accomplish things with a bit more urgency. To be clear, I would simply present the facts, no threats or derogatory language. Just the facts as you see them and hopefully that will help. And yes I would ask to see the truck that is making that same noise. Just because they have another defective truck on the lot doesn't mean that it's normal.

Ok guys thanks for the responses, its nice to know that I have people on my side, since Ford and the services guys aren't! So I did what the Ford Customer Service guy told me to do. I hooked up with my salesman and drove another 2012 F150 Screw Ecoboost 4x4, to see if another truck makes the same noise as mine, and just as I expected IT DOESN'T AT ALL!

Here is a video of the other truck which was a platinum

And yes we have a news channel that bust the asses of ****ty local businesses, but Im saving this as a second to last resort, since Valley Isle Ford is the only Ford dealership on the island.

I have also looked into the Lemon Lawing my truck, and I have met all the criteria for the Lemon Law in Hawaii. But I really like my truck and I just want it fixed, but if it comes down to it I will go through the process. I mean its only $50.00 to go through the process here.

I had this horrible squeaking at the tailgate of my truck and the dealer knew what was causing it, basically some bushings were too short to keep the step from moving around which was causing the squeak. The dealer said that they went out and drive seven trucks and five of them did it, so it is considered normal operating charactaristic for the vehicle. I was NOT a happy camper. Bottom line was they didn't care and refused to try to fix it, scared of the lemon law. I finally figured out the real problem, took it to another dealer and told them exactly what was causing it. Fixed in a half an hour....

Ok just an update after bending over backwards to do everything Ford rep told me to do, I had the service writer and mechanic ride with me to listen to the noise my truck is making. The worthless mechanic one who acted like he didnt want to be there and two didnt give a sh*t, said he couldn't hear the noise. COME ON REALLY! The service writer told me yes I can hear the noise, and now is willing to changeout the u joints and the drive shaft out of a new truck tomorrow. So here's to hoping that the noise will get fixed. Keeping my fingers crossed
