Default Help on making Harley lights

Hey guys ive been at this for a couple hours and have made zero progress. Is there anything I can do? I put in the oven and pry and pry and nothing. i cant seem to make any progress

It takes a lot of patience. Keep it in there longer and keep trying. Took me 3 hours to do both. Don't worry about bending/damaging the lip as sealant will cover it up

What about the oven time? I keep reading preheat then turn off and stick them in and then i read to put them in for 10 minutes after its at 250.

Do the 10 mins at 250. If you're turning off the oven then that's what's giving you problems

Here's how I do it and have got it down to a science.
Heat the oven to 200 degrees, put in your first head for 15 min, then when that one is done put the other one in for the same time.
Start breaking the seal on the warm headlight not too aggressively but just enough to break that vacuum of the permaseal. By the time you get all the way around your other light will be done in the oven, repeat process with that one.
Now once you get the first head out of the oven that you have already broken the seal on, start really digging into that plastic channel, minding the fragile plastic clips and break that inner seal. I start at the longest sides of the headlight and once I get a corner broke loose its basically pull with your hands and absolutely make sure those clips are undone!

yes the heads. It seems to be going a lot better. I have a lot of the sealant broke on 50% of it but cant pull it apart with my fingers yet

How did you make out?

How long from removal to install? Just wondering how long the truck needs to be "down".
