Default Help! Help!! Unknown cause of shuddering.

Hello I have a 2010 Ford F150 four-wheel-drive with the 4.6 V8 I was having an issue that I believed was the torque converter due to shuddering like it was on rumble strips and you could see on the graph when my computer was hooked up to the truck that it was the torque converter but after that we put a used transmission in at the dealership and now it doesn’t really shudder but it’ll still hesitate and jerk around the same speed but when we took it back I noticed that it’s misfiring a little bit on 7, 5 and cylinder 4. Could this have been causing my shuddering? If not what is it now? It’s not that bad it’ll hesitate at around 40 briefly going uphill. NO check engine light though it’s not misfiring enough to trigger the light.

A misfire can absolutely feel like converter shudder. Fix your misfire(s) and then report back.
