Default Help! Getting the itch for a grille

Hey everyone I have been looking at my truck and really thinkg I want to change the grille. I bought a new XLT with the chrome package, simply because it had everything else that I wanted, I could personally have done without the chrome grille...

Her is how she sits now... what do you guys think? I love the raptor grille but dont want to replace the hood, so I am thinking the FX4 grille with PTM surround. Does anyone have a Blue Pearl FX4 with the stock grille to compare that they could post up?

I think it would look great if you keep your grill and just PTM your grill surround.

The FX'es don't come in the Dark blue, only the Blue Flame... so yeah, you will probably need to paint the grille surround. Maybe you can find a black surround FX grill?

Shouldn't be that hard.

Here's one off of Ebay brand new FX4 grille.

Can easily paint the grille surround to match your truck and then add a billet or mesh insert. That's what I'm doing. Here's what I'm thinking but with a painted surround (photoshop) either this silver or black. Love those projectors!

Ewwww, this looks like someone removed the grill and put a screen door on the front of the truck.

To the OP, I would PTM the entire thing along with the bumper. I've been waiting to see someone do that with that awesome blue color! If I didn't have black, it would be that blue.

That is actually a good idea.... Anyone know the factory color code for this blue? Or have a site to get it? I want to get a quote from my painter friend.
