Default HELP!!!!! Fender flare hole plugs?

Has anyone ever tried to put a stud or bolt or something in the factory fender trim/flare holes?

I have a '10 and the previous owner had the bushwhacker flares and narrow tires so it looks funny to me....likes someone with a huge upper lip and an overbite with missing teeth....

I took the flares off and like the look better but cant find any OEM flares and the the holes look awful.

Wondering if anyone has ever studded the holes? You cant get to the back of the holes to put a nut on so thinking about a self tapping screw with a torx head just big enough to bite on the hole but not bore it out any bigger.

ANyone ever done or seen this? I also thought about those plastic trim piece plugs with a flat head but thought it would look cheap.

How big are the holes? The ideal solution is a set of factory flares IMO.

Here's what I recommend vs. the look of a bolt being there.

If you don't want to paint, here's one option, but it's expensive.

The holes are probably 3/8"

The bumper plug is about what I had in mind. not optimal but something I can live with until I find some OEM flares. THanks for the link...I am going to try that. if nothing else it will be something cheap to see if I like it. THANKS!
